Flagship Initiative Uniting the French Perfume and Cosmetics Industry
This ambitious project, led by Cosmetic Valley and supported by Chartres Métropole, aims to create an iconic venue dedicated to French excellence in the perfume and cosmetics sector.
Spanning over 2,650 m² of fully renovated space, the Maison de la Cosmétique will offer:
- A 1,000 m² immersive experience showcasing the industry’s expertise;
- A 400 m² botanical garden;
- Work and event spaces;
- A laboratory for experimentation and creativity.
With the goal of welcoming 100,000 visitors annually, both professionals and the general public, this venue will become a true hub of international appeal and influence for our industry, which represents €71 billion in annual revenue, 226,000 jobs, and over 6,300 establishments in France.

Verescence, Proud to Showcase Its Glassmaking Expertise
On October 7th, during the official presentation at the Petit Palais in Paris, Cosmetic Valley symbolically handed over the key to the future Maison de la Cosmétique to the nine pioneering patrons, including Chanel Parfums Beauté, L’Oréal Groupe, Puig, and LVMH Beauty.
On this occasion, Thomas Riou, CEO of Verescence, stated:
Verescence is proud to be one of the first patrons of the Maison de la Cosmétique. An exceptional place to share with as many people as possible the French excellence of an entire ecosystem, from the glass bottle to the final product. The fruit of history, the passionate commitment of numerous employees and close collaboration with all players in the French industry.
