Verescence Recognized as Supplier Engagement Leader by CDP for the Fourth Consecutive Year
This achievement reflects the dedication of our global purchasing team in driving significant environmental changes across our supply chain.
CDP’s Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA), formerly known as the Supplier Engagement Rating (SER), assesses companies on their performance on governance, targets, Scope 3 emissions, and value chain engagement in the CDP climate change questionnaire. For the 2024 disclosure cycle, Verescence proudly secured another A rating.
In 2024, our supply chain accounted for 40% of the Group’s total greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, making it the second-largest source of emissions after bottle manufacturing.
By actively engaging our strategic suppliers in climate initiatives and implementing CSR action plans specific to their respective activities, we are committed to reducing scope 3 GHG emissions by 37.5% from purchased goods and services, fuel and energy-related activities, and upstream transportation and distribution by 2034 (in absolute terms compared to the 2019 baseline year).
This recognition reaffirms our commitment to building a more sustainable and responsible supply chain, together with our partners.
