The EcoVadis carbon scorecard provides an independent assessment of a company’s carbon management system and performance. With best in class GHG management system and proven net zero ambition with approved science-based targets, Verescence has reached the highest level of performance: Leader.
Early 2022, the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validated Verescence’s decarbonization plan to reduce its CO2 emissions by 40% between 2019-2034 and recognized it as compatible with the scenario of limiting global warming to well below 2°C, in line with the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and the Paris Climate Agreement.
